It’s important to take care of yourself while you’re on the road. Traveling can leave your skin looking drab and your hair looking and feeling crunchy, dry, and worn out. Especially when you’re beach hopping. So, there are a number of travel sized hair products that I always bring with me when I’m on a trip. They help me keep my hair tamed and in check after being exposed to all of the salt, chlorine, and other crap floating around in the air.
Travel Sized Hair Products That I Can’t Live Without
Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner
Moroccanoil makes a great shampoo and conditioner set. It’s color-safe which is perfect for my dyed locks and it’s sulfate, phosphate and paraben-free. Its made with argan oil, Vitamin A and Red Algae. It leaves your hair shiny and beautiful!
Intense Hydrating Mask
I could soak in the sea or ocean for hours. And while I love the effects that the salty water leaves on my hair, it can really dry it out. That’s why once a week I use a hydrator mask. This one is made with organ oil, glycerin, and linseed extract. Together they work together to restore elasticity, hydrate hair, and leave it looking shiny!
Moroccanoil Treatment
This is by far my favorite product to use both on the road and at home. It controls frizz and flyaways and allows my hair to dry naturally without looking like a mess. It also makes hair incredibly soft and acts as a detangler.
Dry Shampoo
Dry shampoo is a lifesaver when you’re on the road. I don’t like to wash my hair everyday and when I’m traveling sometimes I’ll go up to three days without doing so. This dry shampoo instantly refreshes my hair and deodorizes it (which is very important). It also protects against UV damage which is useful in keeping hair looking and feeling healthy. I use the one for dark tones because my roots are much darker then the rest of my hair! They also have a version for light tones if you’re blonde.
