A huge part of Whiskey Ginger has always been photography… When I started traveling last year, I knew I wanted to share all of those photos with my friends, family and all of you! Instagram has been the best way to show the best of the best of my travels and its been amazing to see the growth over the past few months in particular.
Tomorrow is the last day of 2015… How time flies…
I seriously think that 2015 was the fastest year yet, as well as the best one I’ve had so far. But, I will cover all of that in another blog post on Friday (which will be 2016…WHAT).
My friends love when I start talking about Instagram (complete sarcasm), but its been pretty amazing to see that people actually want to follow along with my travels. At the end of last year I had about 850 followers (give or take a few), and now I’m finishing up the year with over 4000. So, if you follow me, THANK YOU, you really don’t know how much it means to me. And with that, here are my top 5 Instagrams of 2015!
5. This was from my amazing trip to the Sahara Desert in Morocco back in March… Truly my favorite trip of the year!
Dreamt I was back at the beach last night… Wish it were true.

4. This was from my impromptu trip to some of the GORGEOUS Thai Islands… This was in Koh Phi Phi at Maya Bay aka THE BEACH…Leo, where you at?
3. Ah, beautiful Florence. I’m not surprised that this is making my top 5! I just posted this to coincide with my blog post counting down my top 5 travels in 2015… There really isn’t anything like Firenze during Christmastime…
Color makes everything better.

2. Perhaps one of my highlights during my time in Italy was visiting Burano, a tiny Island in Venice, where all of the buildings are painted in bright colors. If I were a little old Italian lady I would live there.
1. And last but not least, the best thing I’ve done since I arrived in Thailand, hiking up Phu Chi Fa and watching the sunrise. An absolutely remarkable experience…something not to be missed! The caption also holds one of my favorite quotes ever.
