I officially had my best trip of 2018 and I’m not sure anything will top it. And while sailing Mallorca was definitely incredible, the highlight of the trip is that I sailed with inAdventures.
inAdventures offers eco-friendly sailing trips around Mallorca. The boutique sailing company offers four-day trips, which is the perfect amount of time for sailing Mallorca. I had such a blast on this trip and I am going to tell you why!
Sailing Mallorca With inAdventures
The Boat
If you’re going to be sailing Mallorca, you want to make sure you’re doing it in comfort and in style. And when you sail with inAdventures, you’ll be doing just that! Each trip consists of two sailboats that can fit up to 11 people (8 guests, and 3 crew). The cabins are comfortable and can be booked as a double, single, or for a solo traveler to be shared with another solo traveler.
The boats will dock together and you’ll often spend your time with the whole group — but don’t worry. You won’t even notice that 16 people are hanging out on one boat because there’s room for everyone on deck.
The Cuisine
One of the highlights of sailing Mallorca with inAdventures was the food! This vegan-friendly adventure will leave you feeling full and satisfied. The food is prepared by a private chef and I guarantee you’ll be blown away by not only the taste of it but the presentation as well.
Throughout our four days, we enjoyed paella, seabass, baked eggplant, avocado toast, fresh salads, and more. Each meal was better than the last and you’ll never be left hungry. *If you’re vegan, there will always be vegan options for you*
And not only is the food gourmet, but you’ll also have a sommelier on board for one of your dinners. You’ll enjoy a wine pairing experience with your expertly prepared meal. The sommelier will talk you through each wine and you’ll leave dinner feeling knowledgeable about Spanish wine.
*Keep in mind that you’ll be eating breakfast around 9 AM, lunch around 2 or 3 PM and dinner around 9 or 10 PM. You’ll be served snacks throughout the day!*
The Activities
inAdventures offers its guests the perfect balance between relaxing and exploring. There are several optional activities that will be offered to you like daily yoga, sunset kayaking, hikes, sailing, rappelling, caving, and swimming. Depending on your route, you’ll even get to spend time on the beautiful white sand beaches of Mallorca!
Eco-Friendly
When you’re sailing Mallorca with inAdventures, you’ll be on an eco-holiday! The crew will always use the sails when the wind permits. There will be designated times of day when you can charge your phone and camera. inAdventures recycles as much as possible and avoids using plastic (so make sure to bring a reusable water bottle to make things easier when you head off the boat).
*Pro Tip: be mindful of water – if you don’t want to take a really fast shower, then just shower off of the back of the boat!*
The Experience
My favorite part of sailing Mallorca was that it felt like I was sailing with people I have known forever. Only a few people knew each other on my trip, but the crew did a fantastic job of giving us situations to bond. We arrived as strangers, but left as friends!
