I cannot believe 2016 has arrived! As I’ve said countless times, 2015 was the quickest year yet. It was filled with the most amazing things and I will never forget all that I was able to do. I lived in Florence, Italy and traveled all over Europe. I spent the summer living in Florida and spending time with my Mom, while getting some seriously much needed alone time. I decided to head to Thailand to teach English and I’ve been able to travel all over the country. I know that these are just highlights, but you can look back at my top 5 travels if you’d like to get a better idea of some of the things I was up to in 2015.
But, now its 2016, and its time to look towards the future! I have so much planned for this year and I’m eager to share it will all of you!
So, what will 2016 look like?
Well, I finish teaching in mid March and then an epic backpacking trip will begin!
Where will I be traveling to? (Please give me any suggestions for any of the places I mention!)
First stop will be the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan and then we will make our way to another island in Thailand before heading off to Myanmar.
After Myanmar I will head to Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia, doing a bit of a highlights of Southeast Asia tour.
Afterwards I will be spending about 3 and a half weeks in the Philippines and then 3 and a half weeks in Bali (SO PUMPED).
From there I will be heading to Australia!! I’m so excited – I know I will be there during the wintertime, but honestly, I don’t mind. I’m not sure when I will make it back over to this side of the world, so I wanted to take advantage of my location while I can.
I will definitely make a trip to New Zealand at some point because I need to go to the Shire and I would love to go skiing!
I will be finishing up my trip at the end of August in Japan with my Mom! I’m looking forward to it. I can’t believe I have booked a ticket home already… I will be back in the states on August 31, which is so weird to think about!
