This is the third and final week where I will be introducing you to even more travel bloggers to follow in 2017. They’ll be telling you about their blogs, where they get their inspiration from and their upcoming plans for 2017! I hope you enjoy this short series. I love to show you some of the people that inspire me! I’ve actually had the pleasure to meet some of these people, as well as form some pretty great friendships over Instagram!
Thanks to everyone who participated!

What’s the name of your blog and the story behind it?
My blog’s name is AlienChris.com. A travel blog that I started after I spontaneously quit my job and moved to Spain. I realized that life was too short not to follow my dreams, so I decided to start my own business and work towards a life as a full-time traveler – and here I am today!
I started my blog to share my passion for traveling the world, to inspire people to travel more and step out of their comfort zone. But also to inform people about important subjects such as responsible travel and having compassion for animals.
How long have you been traveling for?
I’ve been traveling for almost 1.5 years!
Do you travel and blog full time or do you have a career that you love as well? If so, what is it?
Yes, I’m a full-time traveler and blogger – and I love it! One of the best decisions I’ve made in my life!
What are your plans for travel in 2017 (whether it’s a bucket list destination or you already have something planned)?
2017 is going to be a great year full of exciting destinations. I haven’t booked all my trips yet, but what I’ve planned is to spend my first days of the year in Poland, then explore Malta and afterward head to Spain for one month. After Spain, I’m going to explore Marrakech and go for a road trip in Croatia!
I never book my travels too far in advance – but before Croatia, I’m thinking about maybe staying in Bali and Thailand for about two months or so. After that, I’m hopefully going to spend some time in Iceland and enjoy summer in Japan where I’m going to eat lots of sushi and try to become fluent in Japanese!

What’s the name of your blog and the story behind it?
I launched my blog in May this year – Lulu comes from my middle name Louise and I chose Escapes instead of travel(s) to make it stand out. I am curious by nature so for me an escape is not to run away from something but to discover something new from my day-to-day life. I wanted to combine my creativity with my knowledge of travelling so creating my own travel blog was the perfect way to bring everything together.
How long have you been traveling for?
I have been travelling since I was little. With my family we would go every year to Ibiza, the Canary Islands, skiing in the Alps, and around France. They planted the travel bug in me at an early stage. I was born in London, I grew up in Ibiza during my teens, I studied my degree in Madrid, then worked in London and now I’m living in Paris. You can see how I enjoy discovering something new all the time. In addition to living in different places every few years, I have always taken every opportunity to explore the world.
Do you travel and blog full time or do you have a career that you love as well? If so, what is it?
As I only recently started my blog, I do this on the side of my full time job. I’m a lawyer in Paris and I do enjoy the work I do and the people I work with. However, I would love to be able to travel more with my job. On the bright side, my job allows me to live an amazing life in one of the beautiful cities in the world and gives me the means to travel wherever I want.
What are your plans for travel in 2017 (whether it’s a bucket list destination or you already have something planned)?
I’m going to Cabo Verde at the end of December for two weeks with my family and I’m really excited to explore these beautiful islands just off the coast of Senegal. I tend to plan things last minute so for the time-being I’m not exactly sure what I’ll be doing in 2017 but I’m aiming to visit Bali and Iceland.
Thank you so much for the feature Taylor 🙂 Love your blog, keep the posts coming! xx
