We all have our favorite places to eat. Mine happens to be bartaco, a delicious taco restaurant that I visit whenever I am home. bartaco now has 10 locations scattered around the country (from New York to Atlanta to Tampa to Nashville). And even with their growth over the past few years, their food has only improved.
I’ve been going to bartaco for years, so when we started to follow eachother on social media, I was more than excited. bartaco not only has great food, but they have a great vibe that can be seen in the restaurants as well as online. The story behind the decor and vibe of the place is inspired by beach culture in South America and Southern California. They offer upscale, fresh street food and delicious specialty cocktails.

So, when I find myself in the area, I make my way down to bartaco, leave my name at the door (there is always a wait because its that good), and then I head to the bar and order either a sashito (which is a delicious watermelon tequila cocktail) or a margarita.
After a few cocktails, I’m ready to take my seat. I order a few different kinds of tacos… My favorites are the duck taco and the fried oyster taco. I’ve also recently fallen in love with the fried avocado taco that made its debut as the fourth #bartacosecrettaco.
I’m still trying to convince anyone who will listen to me to add the taco to the menu forever since its that good. But, the fifth #bartacosecrettaco has just launched! I can’t give away what it is, but you should definitely head to your nearest bartaco location to taste it.
You have to order some sides when you visit the place. I go for chips and guac (their guac is to die for). Then I follow that with grilled corn that is covered in cotija cheese and the most delicious sauce (I like mine off the cob). If I’m feeling extra hungry I’ll also get a rice bowl.
bartaco’s food is vibrant, colorful and delicious. I like to finish off a meal with some delicious ice cream. I went for the mint chip this time!
