On our final day in Chiang Rai, we decided we wanted to get active. So we thought, what better way to do that than take a bike ride through the gorgeous Singha Park?
The park, which spans over 12.8 km, features beautiful mountain views, lush green tea plantations, gorgeous zebras and giraffes and much much more.
We opted to rent bicycles (200 baht for two and a half hours, a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion). The bike path does a complete loop around all of the grounds and should take you the two hours if you bike at a leisurely pace. We had more than enough time to stop and take photos.
If biking isn’t your thing, you can take a free farm tour on the shuttle bus which runs ever 20 minutes from 9 AM until 5 PM. If you want to be adventurous, the park offers zip lining and a rock wall!
Other attractions include a restaurant, viewpoint, and a small zoo where you can feed some giraffes and check out the beautiful zebras. There are a ton of gorgeous birds that you can even have land on you!
Singha Park was about a twenty minute ride from downtown Chiang Rai. I would take a taxi and have them run the meter as part of my group did that and it was much cheaper than hiring a songthaew.
