Checking into Circa 39 Hotel was a dream. When you arrive at the small boutique hotel in Miami Beach and walk through the doors, you’ll be taken aback by the bold use of color. Because of this, the interior design is stunning. It’s how I would like to decorate my own home. But, perhaps my favorite thing about the hotel was the staff. Everyone was so kind, accommodating, and helpful during our stay at Circa 39.
Therefore, if you’re interested in design and color, this is the hotel that you need to book your next stay in Miami at.
#CheckingIn To Circa 39
The hotel is fresh from a renovation, and you can tell. There is brightly colored wallpaper throughout the hotel, colorful curtains, accessories and furniture, even the bathrobes are bright orange.
A hidden courtyard, known as the “Wundergarden” is the perfect oasis to escape from the hot Miami sun and read a book. And if you’re interested in catching some rays, head to the pool or across the street to the beach, where you’ll have access to comfortable loungers and an amazing view of the Atlantic.
#EEEEEATS At Circa 39
The hotel is brimming over the top with personality. That personality trickles over to their bar, Wunderbar. You can enjoy a cocktail, local craft beer, or wine and a snack during their daily happy hour. The bar focuses on rum inspired cocktails, and you’ll feel transported to a tropical place with each sip you take. I recommend the Oriental Crush or the Smashed Sangria if you’re looking for a flavorful cocktail. While I’m more a cocktail girl when I’m on vacation, you can’t go wrong with a Floridian on draft. Also, the Wunderbar, carries local beers from Wynwood’s many breweries.
Jules Kitchen is a great place to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and I enjoyed my fair share of eggs, bacon, and fruit each morning. You can also get some cereal, hot or iced coffee, and toast.
All of the food at Circa 39 is made with fresh and local ingredients, Plus, it’s inspired by flavors from all over the world. My favorite plate to munch on after an afternoon of exploring was the Marinated Olives & Cheeses. We also enjoyed tasting Curry Fried Chickpeas which were divine, and Shrimp “Bang Bang,” which definitely has a bit of a kick to it.
Beyond Circa 39
I could have stayed on site at Circa 39 forever. But, when you’re on a trip, you have to go explore, no matter how beautiful the hotel you’re staying at is. So, we logged onto BeyondCirca39.com to check out the many different neighborhoods of Miami. The site has many recommendations on things to do and see, and places to eat.
Explore the five different neighborhoods that make up Miami: Wynwood, Little Havana, North Beach, South Beach, and Little Haiti. During this trip we were able to explore Little Havana, Wynwood, and South Beach. And don’t worry, another trip is already in the works to explore the rest!
If you’re interested in checking out some seriously cool street art, visit Wynwood. And if you want a taste of Cuba, pop down to Little Havana (get a Cuban coffee). If you’re interested in some fun in the sun and a party, South Beach is where you want to be.
Whatever vibe you’re looking for, BeyondCirca39.com has you covered and can help you plan out an amazing vacation.
