.I was lucky enough to head back to Split for a second time over the weekend. We had much better weather this time around for our Island Hopping Tour. The sun was shining, the sky was blue and the temperature was almost perfect. We embarked from Trogir and visited two small Islands of Croatia in the Dalmatian Coast for some island hopping in Croatia.
Croatia is home to over 1000 islands. These gorgeous islands scattered throughout the Adriatic Sea are of all different sizes. They have amazing beaches, lush vegetation and charming little towns. Each island offers its own slice of paradise in a unique way.
I spent the day on a boat visiting beautiful beaches, eating freshly caught fish and exploring the Dalmatian Coast. It was a blast. Probably because I went flying down a water slide off of the back of a boat. And I swam in the incredibly blue Adriatic Sea.
I know that I will definitely make it back out to Croatia at some point to explore more the islands and coastal cities. Plus, I could totally see myself renting a villa (Croatia is super cheap!) and staying here for about a month to experience more of what the country has to offer. If you’re interested in Island Hopping in Croatia, there are several companies that provide private tours. I’d suggest looking for an option with a catamaran.
If you’re looking for a longer trip, a big party, and an opportunity to visit more islands, I’d definitely check out The Yacht Week. They offer two different routes, which both stop at the same ports, just on different days, offering its participants a better chance to experience the many islands of Croatia.
