I’ve now been to Bangkok twice and honestly, its so hot there that you need some sort of relief during the day…. I’ve been to several pools in the big city and these are the best pools in Bangkok….
Sofitel So
By far my favorite pool in Bangkok, the Sofitel So brings you one of the best infinity pool views I’ve seen. The Infinity Pool is located on the tenth floor with absolutely stunning views of the Bangkok skyline and Lumpini Park. Enjoy a cocktail from The Water Club and sit back and relax in the perfect amount of sun and shade. Interested in more sun? Cross over to the other side of the tenth floor and you’ll be able to layout in The Solarium.
The pool is generally only open to hotel guests, but on the last Saturday of every month you can pay a small fee to join in on one of the best pool parties in all of Bangkok. Come for drinks, come for the view, come for a dip, whatever you want, they have it.
Aloft Bangkok Sukhumvit 11
If you’re looking for a livelier spot, Splash Pool is the place to go. The Aloft Bangkok offers an awesome view in a great location. Sukhumvit 11 is in the heart of the city, so this pool is in the perfect spot. My favorite part of the pool? The small wading pool where you can literally lay down and take in the city skyline. They constantly have good music playing and the vibe is really cool.
The pool is open to hotel guests, but check them out online to see when their next pool party is! Be sure to order something from their poolside bar (and definitely try a delicious and refreshing mojito).
Dream Bangkok
Sun, delicious food, and an awesome rooftop pool is what you can find at the Dream Bangkok. You won’t be disappointed as you can always find sun on this rooftop or you can seek some shade under their many umbrellas. This pool is only open to hotel guests, but if you’re looking for a cool place to stay in Bangkok, this is absolutely the spot.
