You have been begging for some London content! So here we go! I’m sure this won’t be my last “most Instagrammable spots in London” post. But, we’ve got to start somewhere!
If you haven’t been to London before, go immediately. It’s an Instagrammer’s dream. There are colorful houses and mews, beautiful museums, delicious tea spots, and interesting streets waiting to be explored. So if you’re looking for a guide to the most Instagrammable spots in London, you’ve come to the right place!
The Most Instagrammable Spots In London
The Murals In Shoreditch
Shoreditch is full of amazing murals to check out. They line the streets by Box Park, so that’s definitely the best place to go if you’re looking for scale. But, if you don’t care about how large the murals are, you can just walk down Great Eastern Street or Rivington Street to find some more!
Pink Details In Knightsbridge
It’s no surprise that London is full of some of the cutest houses in the world. And a wander around Knightsbridge will bring you to this adorable house in Trevor Square. I’ve been there three times now and I’ve never seen a car parked in front of it, which definitely makes it one of the most Instagrammable spots in London!
Splashes Of Color In Chelsea
Chelsea is one of my favorite areas of London (and if I could afford it, I’d live there). It is full of some of the most perfectly painted houses on gorgeous little lanes. If I ever come into money, this is where you’ll find me!
Street Art On Brick Lane
Brick Lane is one of the most interesting areas in East London, so it has to make my list of the most Instagrammable spots in London. You could spend an entire afternoon running around the area photographing the street art, sculptures, and cool shops there. Oh, and it’s also the home to a ton of delicious Indian food spots.
Food In Chinatown
I love Chinatown because of its vibrant gate. It’s also home to delicious dim sum and of course the bubble waffles. But honestly, the time it’s most Instagrammable is when the skies turn blue in London. The red gate looks beautiful against the sky!
Millenium Bridge And The South Bank
There’s nothing better than a good wander down the South Bank. Make sure to cross over the Thames on the Millennium Bridge for the ultimate view of St. Pauls. It’s the perfect moment to try out that portrait mode on your phone!
A #SundayCarPic in Notting Hill
Did you really go to London if you didn’t stop off in Notting Hill? Or if you didn’t photograph a super cute vintage car? Notting Hill is one of my favorite places to go for a wander with my camera in hand. It’s so much fun to photograph the hundreds of colorful houses. And it’s even more fun when you stumble upon a car like this!
Extra Floral Displays
Wild at Heart has one of the best floral displays. Unforautnely when I went, it was a Sunday so it was closed. But, I was still blown away by how pretty the sign looked. So take a look at this photo and just imagine it with even more pretty flowers in it!
All Of The Ivy’s
The Ivy Market Grill has several locations scattered around London and not only is the food delicious, but the decor is unreal. I’m really hoping to make it to the Chelsea location so I can check out the beautiful floral display they have outside!
Camden Locks
Camden is full of life! The canalside area is home to a bustling food market, some really cool murals, a ton of shops, and so much character. You could easily spend the entire day here eating, walking along the canal, and snapping some amazing Instagram photos.
The Columbia Road Flower Market
Yes, this will be so unbelievably crowded, but if you head there towards the end of the day you can pick up some good deals. Plus, the Columbia Road Flower Market is just beautiful. They have all of the flowers and the colors are perfect for your feed!
Architecture At The Natural History Museum
London is amazing for so many reasons, but one of them is definitely free access to museums. So that means there is no reason why you can’t visit the Natural History Museum and snap a photo of the gorgeous main hall!
Get Tropical At Kew Gardens
A visit to Kew Gardens is a perfect way to get out of the city for a few hours! And now that the Temperate House has reopened, you can snap a ton of amazing photos of the space. The greenhouse is full of beautiful light, green plants and trees, and amazing spiral staircases that make for the perfect backdrop for an Instagram shot.
A Seasonal Shot: #WisteriaHysteria
Depending on the time of year you visit London, you could be here for the #WisteriaHysteria. So head to West London and just wander up and down the roads– During springtime, you’ll come across a ton of wisteria perfectly draped over houses and entryways.
Tea Time (And A Visit To The Bathroom) At Sketch
Sketch is probably one of the most Instagrammable spots in London because of its bathroom. So when you go to pee in a pod, remember to bring your camera with you. Oh, and the tea is pretty good too.
